The Research of The Participation of Agricultural Management of Ornamental Plants Women Farmer in Kaohsiung－Pingtung Area

Abstract

　In order to inquiring the present situation of agricultural management of women farmer and realizing their problem and need in different area, 200 Ornamental Plants women farmer were investigated. The result is - about 70.0% of women farmer depend on their husband, it means most of ornamental plants farmers play main role in agricultural management that includes farming, decision-making, management and function. The working time of majority of those women is 5~8 hours per day, so, 57.0% of them have concurrent post, but only 4.0% can own her income as private money. 40.0% of visiting women are in charge of domestic economy, so that is the reason why 91.5% of visiting object have a high degree of aspiration of agricultural management, even 80.5% visiting women are satisfied with their life. It's obviously, although busy women farmer fell some farming they cann't endure, their ability of enduring hardships is elastic. Face the difficult of farming they hope the Government can do more things for them.
